Blast Away Package

Blast Away Package is a simple game that i decided would be fun quick project to do and the idea behind it was to recreate minesweeper in 3D and i decided to make it in the theme of a warehouse where you have a bunch of boxes and some of them have mines in them and its your job to find out which boxes have mines! also there is no sound in the game so if are going to play make sure you put something nice in the background!

so let me explain how to play the game!

first let me explain how minesweeper works! in minesweeper you have grid of boxes and when you check the first box it will open up an area of empty boxes and boxes with numbers on them. those numbers means how many mines are in a 3x3 area and using those numbers you have to figure out where the mines are! and in this game those same rules apply but in 3D of course. also the values on the boxes wont change if you move it or remove a mine near it, it will always stay the same!

the way you take care of the mines is that you move them to the hole in the wall that has the total number of mines left above it. but if you put a normal box in there you will fail!

as you can see from the pictures you can scan the numbers of the boxes using a scanner gun by right clicking and the number on the scanner gun will stay after you stop scanning and you can ether click once or hold down to scan. also if you scan a mine then it will explode!

you can move boxes by left clicking once to pick them up and then left clicking again to drop them, but the mines will explode if they hit the ground!

you can remove boxes by pressing "e" on them and if you break a mine then it will obviously explode!

if you loose just hit "r" to reset and if you want to exit just hit "esc" to go to the main menu.

also you can jump with space and run with left shift.
